Speaking & Listening Skills Day Boosts Confidence
The SEP recently featured a special day dedicated to speaking and listening skills development. Students practiced delivering short talks, participating in debates, and listening to recorded conversations to improve comprehension. The session aimed to build their confidence and fluency when interacting in English. Many students shared positive feedback about how these activities helped them overcome hesitation.
The programme began with an orientation session, where students were introduced to interactive methods of learning English. Through group discussions, presentations, role-plays, and listening exercises, participants will get ample opportunity to practice and polish their speaking skills in a supportive environment.
The first batch saw enthusiastic participation, with students expressing their excitement about improving their confidence in everyday conversations and professional settings. Faculty members highlighted the importance of English as a global language and encouraged students to make the most of this platform.
